Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford South-Glastonbury

I was here for work travel for over a month, and was pleased with overall service. Staff was welcoming and accommodating to any requests I had over my long stay. What stood out the most, was going to complimentary breakfast nearly every morning and being greeted by Yolly G - breakfast/ food service attendant. She was super friendly to every guest and made sure everyone had what they needed.

To begin, I would like to express my gratitude to Milly C for her outstanding customer service and hospitality. Employees like her are instrumental in creating a positive initial impression, which is vital for any business. The check-in process was swift and effortless, and Milly was well-informed about the amenities I needed, especially since I was attending the Chris Brown concert. The room was clean and comfortable for my overnight stay, and I regret not being able to stay longer. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a clean lobby, exterior grounds, and lobby restroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept soundly after the event. Overall, I would rate my experience 10/10, and I would advise against letting negative reviews discourage you. If I return to the area, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Although I did not have time to take pictures due to preparing for the concert, I did notice the hotel's scenery, and it was impressive.

The first room we were assigned had a really bad smell. Almost fishy. HOWEVER, that staff and maintenance team was FANTASTIC. They understood traveling late at night with young kids is challenging so they let me visit the alternative room before committing to a change to make sure it’d be good for the family, and made key card swaps seamless. After that we had a perfect stay.

Dennis is great! We had a nice stay at this location. The pool is really nice. They also have a half court for basketball and a firepit. The rooms are very nice and you can get ajoining rooms.

I wanted to make a review to set the record straight with Homewood Suites in Glastonbury. We spent way too long researching, trying to find a suitable last-minute hotel for a funeral in the Hartford area. We were initially deterred by some of the negative reviews, but I just have to say, I'm so glad we booked this hotel, and would definitely come back. It was more than acceptable, it was great. The hotel is clean, quiet, we were perfectly comfortable, it has good amenities (gym, pool, fire pits, bball court, plenty of seating) and it's in a nice spot (with some walkable places). I even took a video to share, but google is being obnoxious and not letting me post it (more than 30s long). Staff was friendly, room was clean, shower, toilet, + AC worked fine, rooms were modern and updated, and bright. Hot breakfast was honestly amazing and blew away our expectations (especially the scrabbled eggs w/ real cheddar!). I cannot relate to the other negative reviews, we loved it. (For reference, we booked the King Studio Suite).

Wonderful stay! I am quite the traveler and have been to plenty of hotels. This has been the best one yet! The customer service was excellent and the breakfast choices were plentiful and tasty. If I travel to Connecticut again, I will definitely be staying here. Rooms were spacious and clean too.
